After a couple hours browsing the forums, I am still stumped. I have been running a TeamSpeak server on my colocated box for about 5 months now. I have never had problems with running a TS server before this.
I am running Windows 2003 Enterprise Server. At one point in time, I installed the server using MySQL. The server would randomly boot users off, and give the user a message that the server is not running. I decided to do away with the MySQL as the user db.
So then I un/reinstalled TS2 server with the service binary, regular DB. It worked just fine, but I still had the problems of occasional kicks and/or server not running messages.
So then I went with another fresh install. This time with everything default. Now I have to RDP into my box in order to re/start my server. However, I (and all users) am/are STILL getting randomly kicked.
The server runs great other than this problem.
There are no logs in either the Windows Server or the TS server that point to any problems. In fact, the server doesn't even shut down. The uptime as of this posting is 25 days. The TS logs only show people leaving/joining, and server restarts when I manually restart.
When the TS server goes down, it isn't an internet problem either, because other services are running just fine and are accessable; However the server will be down for several minutes.
Does anyone have any idea where I can look?
Thanks.
