I have a Hercules Game Theater XP and when I talk in TeamSpeak I have an echo. When I try to test the card no matter what codec I use I have a worse echo and if I hold down the talk key for a long time it lets out a horrible noise. When I connect to my other computer and talk through the mic the echo is not as bad and I don't get that terrible noise, but the echo is still there. I was using the old 6.1 driver and updated to the 7.1 last night and there is no difference as far as this problem goes. I am using wave recording with 14.8 compression. I have my sound quality set to default center position and have it set to run in high priority mode. I have included my system specs below. On my other computer which is a Sound Blaster PCI512 I get that same horrible noise if I hold down the talk key in test mode, but when I am connected it sounds just fine. I have went through all the sound card settings and the windows test works fine. I see alot of people here praise the Game Theater card, and I love it too, but I would like to get this echo problem solved. Please advise!
