Hi, I'm running TS v2.0.r20.b1 Win32 server and several times I have been hit by an automated hacker. He slams me with rapid joins of "nigger1", nigger2", etc with as many as he can until I can manage to ban some of them. He can also speak and brag about his conquest and yet there is no active green icon to indicate him as a user. Even after I ban him he can still speak and brag about his powers with no user icon showing?
Another problem is that I cannot expand the banned list window to see the rest of the information. Where can I find this information and is there any way to log and view the IP of someone who has already left so I can ban that IP? Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.
P.S. the IP of my server is 68.44.228.35

unfortunately that is a bug in the TS client. With the TCPQuery interace you should be able to view the complete ban list. But note, most users sit behind dynamic IP's => they reconnect and get a new IP.

that would be your log file described in the FAQ:

Thanks for your help. I have set the flags to provide more useful info in the log.
I still have no idea where the "TCPQuery interface" is??? I do see all the SQL command instructions and I assume that I have to write my own programs to use them.

Thanks ScP that was the clue I needed. I didn't know that was the only way in.
It took me back to the 1970's on mainframes when asm or Fortran were the only options.
I was afraid I would find a dwarf that would throw an axe at me but it did allow me to get the info that I needed from the ban list.
Still no word on how the hacker was able to speak to everyone on all channels and not show up as a user??? I'm not sure but I think he could also hear everyone on all channels.
The invisible player issue has been fixed with version 2.0.22.1. Just update your server with this binary (2.0.22.2), which is available for Windows and Linux:
