Sever Offline?

Whenever i try to connect to my server i always get this message that says my server is offline or maybe teamspeak doesnt run on it. if sumone could give the way to solve this problem that would be great. or if u can give me a step by step guid to setting up my server that would also be great. ty!

And try connecting to your server.

every once in a while that happens to me

just right click on the server icon and click exit

then start up the sever program again

reseting the vitual server doesnt work for me, i have to close the program

I hope you do not connect to your server (running in your own LAN) by the WAN IP or the webserver list. That would be a bad idea as most cheap home routers do not support such an access.
=> from within the LAN, only use the LAN IP

=> the answer from MAESTRO100 is not entirely correct as in case you use a router you will get your WAN IP from http://www.myip.nu/


In case you use a modem, you should read the FAQ (no reply: firewall,...). Anyway, reading that FAQ is a good idea.



I'll probably start a counter which how often I give this answer here. That counter will probably have to start at 1000 :rolleyes:
