Can't log on, need help.

When I try to log on, I keep getting socket error 11004

From another thread, I learned that it means:
Socket error 11004 - Valid name, no data record of requested type


But that tells me nothing. What do I do to solve the problem? The others can use the channel fine, I'm the only one who's experiencing this.

I was just trying to log onto the server/channel etc. I still don't know what the problem was, but it's working now. *shrugs*

you forgot the lower part:

Socket error 11004 - Valid name, no data record of requested type

=> host-name resolution may have failed, you may try to enter your server's ip address instead.

=> DNS Problem => use the IP of that server
