Hey guys this is my first post, and I am looking for help. I've been reading the FAQ and other posts all day, but nothings worked.

I am running version 2.0.25.25 of teamspeak right now. I have tried updating, but it has not helped. I can use TS2, but am told that I am choppy and staticky at all times.

My specs are as follows:

1ghz AMD Athlon
512 PC2100 DDR Ram
20GB HD
Audigy Gamer
Windows XP Pro

I tried installing the Kx project drivers, but they will not recognize the MFC libraries I also installed in C:\Windows\System32

I'm clueless now and hope you all can help.

BTW for Teamspeak my settings are Direct Sound and for I/O devices I have primary sound driver.

Thank you.

sorry, I don't think anyone in here can help you, because your problem is a driverproblem.
WinXP and SB Live! / Audigy doesn't seem to be a good combination (at least until now).

As I experienced myself the WinXP-Drivers are better than those you can download from www.sblive.com but as soon as I deinstalled my creative-drivers I couldn't hear any sound from my rear speakers. All other sound-problems were gone.

So the KXProject helped me out, you just have to unrar the MFC-Libraries into your system32 directory... Oh and I always deinstalled my creative-drivers before I installed those from kx...

But I don't think I have the same problem as all the others do, because I have the problem that my own sound sounds very crappy... e. g. standard windows-sounds are buzzy, laggy... KX solved my problem, so perhaps you should give it another try...

I hope you can solve your problem, perhaps read some stuff in the sblive.com knowledgebase (it didn't help me, but perhaps it helps you.)

PS: I read something about installing the drivers from the second audigy driver-cd would fix all problems, but I didn't try that... (I use a SB Live! value)

Have u tried changing the process setting from Normal to High? A friend of mine had the same problem as you he's using a 1G Celeron and TS2 was unuseable.

The setting can be found under Settings/Options/Other.

This worked a treat for him.
