Is there a way to change the amount of time it takes for voice activation to de-activate when you quit speaking?

For example, I say "hello" <5 seconds of silence> "how are you?"
As I begin to speak "hello", TS starts transmitting, during the 5 seconds of silence, TS stops transmitting. As I say "how are you?" TS resumes transmission.

I would like to know if there is a way for me to configure TS to keep transmitting for a time period I specify before it stops transmitting. So in the above example, TS would contine to transmit even through my 5 seconds of silence if I set the threshold that high.

Thank you.
Cletus.

Why would you want to do that? You would only be transmitting dead air.. I get frustrated as it is from listening to people breathing on TS.

There are serveral reasons that come to mind.

The main one is that it just cuts off way to quickly IMHO. I am sure others are fine with it, but I just want to know if there is a setting somewhere that can be tuned. I wouldn't really set it to 5 seconds, that was just an example to make obvious the function that I am trying to tune.

Currently there is no way to change this. All you can change is the sensitivity level.

Well it wasn't the answer I had hoped for, but at least I have the correct answer.

Thank you
