okay, i just installed a server onto my computer and I need to make it available to people online but its connecting using my LAN IP how do i change it to my WAN ip?

You have to connect using your LAN Ip. (Internal IP)

You give others your external. ( www.ipchicken.com )

You don't change anything in the TS server config. TS doesn't care from where you connect. You only have to make sure connections from everywhere (if desired) are allowed by setting up your network config appropriate (completly independant of TS).
