I've noticed lately, on clan's TS server which is used by 10-30 people, that Unregistered users aka "Players" not "Members", their Sound Notification doesn't always work. I'm no server admin nor do I have access and I do have all Sound Notifications turned on, so I hear when Member's join, when I Connect or Disconnect etc all the normal stuff

But sometimes the Player Joined message/notifaction doesn't always work. Sometimes it does, other times people are basically able to login without me even hearing it, which is quite odd. I mean, personally, thats the whole reason I keep Sound Notifications turned on, so I know who joins when and who leaves when. And before you get to reading my system specs and such, let me point out my sound card is quite adequate, it plays modern games, has run Teamspeak 2 since it went public years ago and even runs stuff like Ventrillo quite well (though I prefer TS for compatibility over all)

As per rules thread, my specs are;

TS2 Version; 2.0.32.60
OS: Windows XP Service Pack 2
Sound Card: ESS Allegro Onboard w/ default XP drivers (no others really exist for my particular brand #)
Game: "Problem" persists in and out of any games I play
Error Message: none given
Occurances: Daily
Attempts to Fix: change sound level of notifications, disable and reable etc

*edit* I also have noticed another "glitch". A Player will join, and I'll get the correct Sound Notification BUT in the TeamSpeak window area at the bottom, it does not say "who" joined the server.

So like 1/3 of the time, I get no Sound Notification for just "Players" (non-regged users), 1/3 of the time I get Sound Notification for just "Players" but with no mention of who exactly logged onto the server and the last 1/3 of the time it works fine sounds and everything else.

You have to be in the channel to see the messages.

Eg: New001 has joined the channel.

(It won't say server, however, it will say channel, because the channel is IN the server.)
