Choppy sound

over past few days, in COD UO i get chooopy sound when members try to chat to me, This happens when a new map loads or after about 5 mins in new game. others can here me ok!

It clears but then comes back.

Im on 2meg BBand and using USB headset. onboard sound ac97?

In teamspeak, try changing the Sound Driver from Direct Sound to Wave for vice versa.
