when ever i log into TS, im fine for about 30secs, then i get 'your connection to the server has been terminated', and my whole internet disconnects but cant log on net again, or restart so i have to manually turn off to restart. - sometimes after this proccess it works again...

this has only happened recently - been going on for about a month now, and been using TS for ages...

thanks alot for looking

Dan

Read the FAQ (http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=faq) and try Searching (http://forum.goteamspeak.com/search.php).

Also, read the forum rules (http://forum.goteamspeak.com/announcement.php?f=2) and post more information. I know you did, but I like giving the links out.

Remember: Google (http://www.google.com) is your friend.

Edit: Hey, man, try searching on Google for your drivers on your USB, even though this probably not your problem, it's best to do it to avoid further problems.

Hard for me to see a link between your USB drivers and a UDP application "killing" a whole www connection ? DO you use a USB modem ?
Otherwise I'd contact your ISP, I wouldn't know why TS should be able to "crash" your www connection ?

nope...im in TS now wireless to my computer and im getting no problems....

cos i use a laptop, i can either plug in modem or go wireless, if my computer is on and connected (use a USB thinga) so it has to be something to do with teamspeak not liking my modem

In the past, "lots" of bad USB driver caused problems with TS. Usually driver updates solved such issues.
I personally wouldn't use a USB www access as well, but if oyu have to => look for a driver update, that's my only sueggestion I have currently

I've seen problems like this before with P2P programs when used with certain routers. Wonder if the same concept is applying with his USB modem.

What's the make/model for your modem?

He also said it was working fine before and it just started happening recently. So, I think something is bugging it. Maybe windows is doing it, maybe the modem. Maybe a virus? Could be a hardware issue.

i have a BT ADSL voyager 105 USB modem...
i have the latest modem driver, and cant get one for my headset (name is above)
so i think its windows, but then again im no expert on this.. all i can say is that wireless is fine, and with the modem plugged in, everything goes crazy.

cheers for the help you've tried to give me so far by the way...hope we get it going like it did soon :)

Think i figured it out!

Sitting in TS without my headset plugged in and its fine!

conclusion

Must be somesort of conflict between my USB headset, and the modem screwing with TS, then TS disconnecting me

anyone got another thing to add please do...this is just what i can gather...

looks like i need to go get myself an analogue headset
