I will try and describe the problem as good as I can.....So ask if there's something that doesn't make sense or for more info...
I have made a fresh install of Windows XP Pro and installed TeamSpeak.
I started TS and entered all the info needed to connect to the server I always connect to. I checked the info many times, so I know they are correct.
When I connect I never get the "Link Engaged"-sound.
I can't see the "channel-tree" and can't see the other users thats online.
In the "chat-window" it say:
Connecting to [ IP-adress ]
Connected to server [ Server Name ]
Welcome to XXXXXXXX
And in the "Status bar" at the bottom it says "Disconnected" before I try to connect, when I have connected and when I disconnect......never changes. But in the menu I can click "Disconnect" and when I do, I do get the "Link Disengaged"-sound and the "chat-window" then says "Connection closed"
I have checked both McAffe and Windows firewall and TS has full access to the internet.
My firewalls havn't been a problem all the other times I have used TS, but just to be sure I disabled Windows firewall, McAfee firrewall and McAfee Virus......still the same problem.
I also tried to connect as a guest and it was the same thing.
One of my mates told me that when I connected he could see me online but he couldn't hear me speak........and I couldn't hear him or any other speak. And I couldn't of course not change channels or anything, as they weren't there.
I have checked my headset and mic and it works fine.
Don't know if it has anything to do with the problem but I'm an Admin on the server.
So please help me....Any input, suggestions, solutions etc are welcome :)
**** EDIT ****
Forgot to tell......
I have also tried and uninstall TS and reinstall it.
And it's TeamSpeak2 RC2
