I have just gotten a new Teamspeak server, but my friends Teamspeak will not connect to the server. I went over to his house, uninstalled, then installed the newest version of Teamspeak (which is what I have) and then tried connecting to the server, but it says "Bad response from the server". I then go into connect menu and set a filter, but the filter does not pick up any servers at all, so I know its not the server that is the problem. Right now he is running an Anti-Virus scan. Anyone know what could be causing this?

either a version conflict (which you say it isn't) or a firewall problem on the client => some of the TS connection is blocked by a firewall or any other tool blocking connections (antispywar tools,...)

there is like a teamspeak testing website that actually tests the connection, or pings the server using a command prompt engine or something like that, or so i hear...

try reading more of the faq, but if it's him having trouble, tell him to read the FAQ (http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=faq).
