Hello !

I ve got a linux teamspeak server tss2_rc2 configured but when I try to log a registered user I always got this message :

"This user is already logged in on the server"

Even when I try to log an anonymous user with a nicknam I ve got this message.

While the server have 0/64 users connected.

The only way to connect is to use the "Allow server to assign nick"
But I can t log in as "SA" ans all my users got a nickname like "user1"

PS : I forgot, the server version is 2.0.20.1

still the same problem :-(

The only way to connect to the server is to click on anonymous and "Allow server to assign a nick"
I can't log in using a registered nickname.

I try the same server with the same configuration on another linux systeme and it's working, so maybe I need a package or somethink ? maybe the .dbs is not well read on my system ?

ok just solved the problem ... not a soft but network problem in fact

The server was installed on a span cisco port wich recived lots of trafic.
UDP packets was lost and server sometime told me "Nickname already logged in" etc ...

Is there a way to use udp over tcp for ts ?

Is there a way to use udp over tcp for ts ?

As far as I know, this would be impossible unless
a) the client application is configured to take the UDP packet out of the TCP packet

or

b) the client's computer is configured to do the same thing before the packet goes to the application.

So, theoretically, yes, it woud be possible, though it may be a bit of a pain to set up. Makes me wish I paid a bit more attention to that part of my Net+ course.

Try waiting 5 to 10 minutes, ifthat fails, restart the server, if it continues, check your firewall/router.
