hi thare all
i just got myself a new pc and installed ts2 but my problem is that when i go into a server or the local test mode the mic is not being activated i tryed with push to talk with evry single button on my keyboard and mouse and voice activation on all levels and its still not working im kinda sure thats my mic is working i tryed it in the widows recorder and it works fine there..
anyone knows what the problem is and how could i fix it?
----------------
system spec's
Amd 64x2 4400+
Nvidia gforce 7900Gtx
Asus A8n32 sli-deluxe motherboard
thrust 5.1 external soundcard
and my headset with mic is speed-link medusa 5.1 pro gamer
...... oopps sry used the wrong thread name sry..
... Push to talk doesn't work? Check to see if the channel is moderated. If the channel isn't moderated, then try to download a new driver for your headset/soundcard.
Also, try and put your microphone boost on.
Volume Controls>Options>Properties>Recording>Check All>OK>Option>Advanced..>Advanced under Microphone section>MICROPHONE BOOST..
If that doesn't work, then scroll the bar up on mic. Or go to TS settings>sound imput/output, then put the output to the right..
i got the newest driver for both my headset and soundcard tried on 3 diffrent server on not moderated channels and i still dosent work
i can also inform that on my old pc i used the same headset and soundcard and it was working fine
if you can record in the win wave recorder, it should work as well in TS.
- did you tested wave or direct sound in TS ?
- do oyu have several sound devices available in TS, if yes, did you tested them as well ?

you using a USB headset?
You need to have the headset selected as the input device.
settings -> options
make sure your headset is selected as the input.... if its not usb, make sure you select whatever the headset is plugged into.
aint got a usb headset its connected throug my trust 510ex usb 5.1 exteral soundcard and thats also what i have selected as my input device ?? still not working?

Tried doing crazy things like plug it into another USB port?
Did Guldi's 2nd question? Try out the onboard audio card.
If you do that, remember that drivers should be installed, card should be working, and teamspeak should have that as it's input/output.
