Help with log book

Is it ok to delete the information in the log book for the ts server after i have read it, because i would check it every month or so and now that it has been running for a few months it is very hard to find the place i last checked to, so is it ok once i have checked the log to go and delete every thing thats in it and then will it start putting in the new info.

yep, deleting the .log won't interfere with the fine running of your server. ;)

It will just automatically create a new one next time your server will be launched

You can also perform an automated backup with a cronjob or even logrotate if prefered.

aaa ok will i dont want to delete the actuall log file just the info in it and i want it to start righting to it again with out restarting the server, will it do this.
