I am writting this not to ask a question but to tell you that I think you have a great product here. I have been tinkering with computers for a long time. I do not claim to be a professional in any of the computing sciences by any means, but I do know enough basics to get done what I want to do.
Over my many years, I have found that it is best to read online helps and forums not just to resolve the issues I am dealing with but to also get an understanding of what other people are dealing with, it inevitably shortens my diagnostics time if someone else has had the same problem.
If I might suggest something for those that are new to server applications, with your permission of course.
What I am going to suggest here might be radical to say the least....but if you are doing any kind of networking in your home, especially server applications, do what the professionals do, get a test machine and get all the bugs worked out on it before you put the application online. The next thing I would suggest is that on this "test" machine is to play with the settings and get a feel for the program and what it does, don't just go for the default settings.
You don't learn from doing things right, you learn from making mistakes.
You don't learn from someone telling you how to do something and then just go through the motions...you got to get your hands dirty too.
Seems everyone is out for quick gratification and want everything done now....take some time and learn the program. Alot of time and effort goes into creating such works and then they distribute it for free....I really like your program. I downloaded it and had it up and running in about 30 minutes including firewall configuration.:) :)
Thanks again.
