FOR ME at least it is over !
I used to have lag spikes over 1000 when someone was talking in TS while playing BF2 and the solution was to quit TS. But now I fixed it simply by changing the sound settings in Battlefield2. It was turned to High with EAX enabled . I changed it to Medium, EAX disabled and lag is gone! Actually my ping overall was reduced A LOT ! (from 70-80 ms to 30 ms in a local server)
So give it a try if you are having similar problems :cool:
