Americas Army lag

Hi, I am having some trouble with TS when I am playing Americas Army, specifically on SF maps. The game will be fine and then all of a sudden, boom, wicked lag. I only have this problem when I am running TS. Does anyone have any ideas about this and what I can do to try and fix it? My Clan uses ventrilo and i have no issues with that program.
