Administrator button on server is not working

Hello, I am new to useing the TS server and I was wondering what I have to do to change the Permissions. I read that you have to go onto the server and right click the server icon in the system tray, but it won't allow me to select it. It is faded out. So... what am I doing wrong? If anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated.
