Horrible Static Sound

I start up TS and it works just fine for a while but then, for no apparent reason, after a while if I hit my push-to-talk button this horrible static noise comes out for all to hear. It's really, really loud and really, really annoying. The only way I can fix it is by turning off TS then turning it back on and reconnecting, then it works just fine for a while until I hit the same problem. Has anyone experienced this and if so does anyone know how to fix it? My friend's had the same problem for a while but he just ignores it and reboots TS; I refuse to let this problem beat me.

Sry, what'd I screw up? I wouldn't really know how to find all that info about my card and stuff, sry. I just thought someoen might have had the same problem and know how to fix it; it's not one of the FAQ questions either.

Without information about your soundcard, it will be VERY difficult to analyize your problem.

Well, for starters you asked for support in GENERAL instead of, I dunno, the SUPPORT forum.
