My clan and I were sitting around in our ts tonight and were bored trying to think of different things to do, as we have already played all day. We decided we would prank call some of the other members (how mature, but how fun).
So, I searched high and low and tried to find a way to get skype to be able to be broadcasted over the ts, while still being able to use my mic to talk.
Finding nothing, I tried different sound settings, and still got nothing. Finally, I pulled out my 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male cord and plugged one end into my speaker output on my sound card, and the other end to the mic input on my sound card. Then, I plugged my mic into the front panel mic port, along with my headphones.
After trying it out... it works, w/ a TINY bit of static... TINY... but other than that, sounds good. I think it would be better if I didnt have onboard sound... but I cant test that theory at the moment.
Just thought I would share a cool find.
take care,
-Brett
