I have been using TS for years, and have run a server for at least 3 years - but only now am I looking at this trivial issue I have with the Linux client.
TS works great, I play quake2 - but after a game, and I close TS, I immediately get 'delayed' sound from whatever KDE notifications was doing... i.e. if I receive 4 e-mails during the time TS is running, I do not get the sound notification until I exit TS - then I get all 4 VERY LOUDLY.
It is like the KDE sound (alsa) gets put on a buffer waiting to be played when TS exits?
My TS uses /dev/dsp
Ideas on what is going on here?
Nick
