echos & sound probs

when a certain player joins us on ts we get terrible echoing and we can hear what we say to other players a second ot two after we have said it,when he leaves everything is back to normal
please help

There are two possibities i know:

- This person need to re-configurate his soundcard recording settings to microphone, i think he is recording wave/output/master at the moment and not microphone.

- This person is gettin the output from his loudspeakers and not a headphone and his microphone is recording the loudspeakers output again.
