 There is no possable way for me to have given SA to anyone!

Look what happened to a PAID server i was on. Click here (http://img275.imageshack.us/img275/2993/hacked1ke8.jpg) to see what the members of (g 0 0 n s.net - The Un-Clan!) did to my server. They even admitted to Hacking Teamspeaks public server (voice.teamspeak.org).
Is anyone going to do something about there childish way of amusing themselves?
If not would someone give me those exploites so i can pay them back?

There is always a way. Weak passwords or writing them down somewhere are also ways of making it easy for the "hackers". (In fact, they are not even hackers.)
Look what happened to a PAID server i was on.
Who is the hoster then? I can't see which ATHP this server belongs to.

Nice hacked TeamSpeak Client you have there. Besides that: creating dozenz of registered channels is not that complicated when the servers permissions system is configured to allow that. Your hoster is responsible for the permissions systems and it seems like he didn't update the server either. One of the new beta versions fixes some of the known problems.
They even admitted to Hacking Teamspeaks public server (voice.teamspeak.org).
I can't remeber that the official public server ever got hacked. They are up and running.
Is anyone going to do something about there childish way of amusing themselves?
We can't force people to setup a secure server and use the latest versions. We can just advise them to do so. Get in touch with your hoster. We can't help you as we don't have access to other peoples servers.

You gotta be kidding.

the only way i can see ts client ever getting "hacked" is if you gave some one the super admin password or your login pw...or useing a rather weak password...i mean granted if i spent enough time i could POSSIBLY hack a server and get in but i honestly dont feel like spending 5 hours trying to guess the user name/password combination to gain SA...so in reality its realy realy realy hard to hack a server...(ive tryed to hack my clans server on pourpos to test the security measures that we had put in and it was near damn impossible...so to boil this down to one word answer...NO its not really possible to hack (with the right client/server versions and the right tools in use).

Yeah, it happens, stuff gets defaced or broken into. Your hoster should have better security, but it can still happen. I generally disable the telnet port, and then grant SA to only a select few people, which helps. Just back up your stuff (or hope your hoster does, I back mine up to a MySQL file), and whenever the script kiddies come knockin' you just pull out your backup and restore.

true...but still i dought some 12 year old is gonna know how to "hack" a ts server...i mean people who can truly "hack" wouldnt want to spend thier time taking down a ts server...they would want to hit larger targets say microsoft for example...since they are a corperation...and they have higher value things...but still i aknolledge that its possible to use a script and take out ts servers for a bit of time or make it an inconvience but still...

anyways i might as well work on a way to help thoes who want it...

Like i said there is no way for me to have given SA to anyone
my user name is 19 character/numbers long and my password is 27 character/numbers long
and they made all the channels in less than 10 seconds and the had some mod that granted and revoked me and my users every right there is in just a registered channel in less than a second
and yes i have a moded TS client i like to be in 2 places at the same time.

my Hoster is www.7tfi.com

hmmmmmm...then the hoster might have a insufficent security system...non the less...i suggest havin a ssa account thats non defult and use the ts admin client to monitor the server that way...useful for reclammin ur server...

They run a script that creates the channels and populates your database with a ton of extra admins. This is after brute forcing their way into telnet (well, thats what they did to me). Pretty simple stuff that they probably found off google.

The tcp query or telnet interface has a brute force protection. After 3 failed logins, the account will be banned temporarily, so I doubt they bruteforced it.

The web administration interface on the other hand has no such bruteforce protection.

And by the way: I can't find this company on the list of authorized TeamSpeak hosters. Do you have a full featured rootserver or v-server there, or do they offer TeamSpeak servers directly (which means that they are breaking the "TeamSpeak End User License Agreement" if they are not paying the licensing fees).

Sounds to me like you did what they said thinking it innocent and clicked on them and pressed a key (I think it is the "E" key) therby granting them server admin powers.
Then any simple macro that take no skill what so ever to write (you can even get programs that will do most of the writing for you) to revoke everyone elses SA, create as many accounts as they want and grant them SA, change channel permissions and create channels.

Everything there is easily done by a SA as it should be, you just have to be smart enough not to grant them SA on purpose or by accident by doing what they say.
I'm a mean :D SA and any one comes wondering into my server ask me to click them and press a key (I care not what key they ask me to press) they find themselfs immidiatly kicked and banned. I have a list like 75 long of banned playes and have never had a single problem despite have some individuals that are realy ticked at me over personal stuff and have tried realy hard to break into the server

I took a look at the host's site, and don't see anything advertising TeamSpeak hosting. It's mostly just a webhost and a game server host (America's Army, Counter Strike, etc).

If you want, I could pose as a customer and ask if they host TeamSpeak for ya. :)

i have ben away for a while and some moderater changed my link to my screen shot so i had to fix it.

I can't believe they are trying to hide this.

BUMPED... Done.

and btw SA's can not access webadmin.
Server Admin can not grant or revoke SA. (no right click my name crap)
No user registered or unregistered can make any type of channels. (ONLY SERVER ADMIN'S)
I AM THE 1 AND ONLY SERVER ADMIN ON THAT SERVER.

This guy "Knightsmoker" if he is "Snake/Virus" he is a teamspeak flooder/hacker that has caused many problems for me, and my friend scott (7tfi.net). Also Scott does not sell teamspeak servers, he just hosts a few servers for his friends and his clan.

My Name on teamspeak is KNIGHT and i have never messed up any Teamspeak server unless it was running on my own pc.
I never said anyone paid for there servers. i said it was a PAID server as in MY Friend Scott PAYS for the server box that it was running off of.
I have never used the names "Snake/Virus" in my life. And i am the one who keeps his server running. btw we have a new hoster now. The server at that data center was costing too much. All we host are 3 swat4 servers and a few teamspeaks. nothing else. No other type of hosting.

And for you information Scott is not in any type of clan. So stop lieing about you know Scott Noob.

What I think is: CLOSED

Don't be angry at this stupid kiddies, who are overtaking servers. They got no life.
