I want an explanation for why TeamSpeak staff is always asking for proof that there are hacks that exist for their product but when you post proof of it to them forum like they ask you to do... they delete the thread. 3 times over the past week or so I have posted screen shots and links of when and how my TS was hacked with links to the tools used to do it and everytime I get the same thing... TeamSpeak cliams to nothing about it, demands proof then I provide the proof and they delete the thread. So read this quick ganag cause they'll be deleteing it soon.
The only thing you ever posted was the programme that allows you to connect to a ts2 server with multiple "fake" connections. This is certainly annoying, and there are 3rd Party tools that detect this kind of spamming and put bans on people doing it, but it is not what is called a hack. We told you this numerous times, but you don't seem to understand.
We are always open to the possibility that the TeamSpeak 2 software is (seriously) flawed in some aspect, after all it is common knowledge that *every* software is buggy. When we find out such a problem exists we will go and fix it, even though we are not working on TeamSpeak 2 anymore. We also take user reports seriously that concern security issues/problems, but there are many ways to "my server was taken over" that do *NOT* constitute a problem in our software (like the famous "click my name and type 'e'" trick, plain stupid passwords that can be guessed, missconfigured permissions systems , TS servers that have been installed on a compromised computer or the also not uncommon installation into a publicly visible directory (most commonly the document root of a webserver)).
Now, you are invited to mail me ( $MYNAME@teamspeak-systems.de ) if you ever come by a tool or a method that looks like it is exploiting a (security) vulnerability of TeamSpeak 2, and I will see what I can do about it.
