DISAPOINTED with Forum Support

Iv have just posted a thread asking about a problem im having with my server. http://forum.goteamspeak.com/showthread.php?p=139403#post139403
One of the admins closed it and told me to go do a search on it, WHICH if he would have read a little closer he might have saw that iv already tried that and couldn't quit get the right answer. Quote "iv searched all over the forums and haven't had much luck. Mostly because some things weren't explained very well, or things didn't need to be explained but were."
SO i tried making a new thread asking about the same problem BUT FOR AN ANSWER, not to have it being DELETED:mad: This is suppose to be a support forum and so far the way you guys seem to handle problems is by shoving them off and saying go search it.. but i had told you i did and couldn't understand what some others have posted. Im very disapointed on how you treat this subject, if you dont know the answer then leave the thread alone and let someone else reply, and if you do know it but just dont want to spend a few minutes telling how to solve it then leave the thread ALONE!!

well i posted 3 times because i cudnt get any support from the other posts, i wud like my post to be answered if possible but OH NO 3 of mine gewt deleted and i didnt even get a message saying why! VERY ANNOYING!!

Then just go into your directory and create another SA?

Solution i found:

( I Used Visual Studio to open the database )

Open the database, then look for a line like:

http://f10.putfile.com/thumb/8/21712533094.png (http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=main/8/21712533094.png&s=f10)

Then delete that content and voila, you can login again.

PS how the heck were you able to ban yourself? I tryed it and it said something like " It wouldnt be smart to ban yourself" Then i clicked OK and it did nothing... Luckily for me i got 5 computers here to do things on. :)


PS dont ask me why the image isnt showing up... Must be the boards settings?

I could do it for you if you dont have Visual Studio, or any other program that can open the database, but its at your own risk. It worked for me, without problems and errors in the TS Server.

You shouldn't whine when you are told off for not searching well enough, you should search methodically until you find the results required. Opening a new thread with title "DISAPOINTED with Forum Support" is *not* a good way, you messed up (by not searching), you should stand corrected...

Now I am being extra friendly, here are three quick hits I found on my first search that all contain the same (and best?) sollution. Editing the database directly also works but is a bit hacky :P
