View Full Version : How to host a teamspeak server on my computer ?

Hello, I got many computers in my house and they are all working on internet with a router. Can I have a complete and clearly tutorial to know how to host a teamspeak server on one of my computer to talk with my friends while playing on battlefield 2.

I already reached this page and I didn't find a clearly answer to my question. I searched for people sharing the same problem and I didn't find answer. Could you help me please ?

Install the server on a computer, set it up the way you want.
Then install the TS client on another computer and see if you can connect to it, you have to use the internal ( network ) IP of the computer hosting.
Also setup your ports in the router so they forward all incoming TS clients from the outside to the computer that is hosting the server.
Then let some of your buddy's try and connect to the TS server, if they cant connect, check on your settings in the router.

This basically how you set it up, and im sure its explained in the FAQ, it was in '03 so i guess it still is now. And there are so many topics, this has to be answered somewere. :)
