My system is:
AMD Sempron64 3400+
768MB DDR RAM
5.1 Integrated Sound
400GB SATAII 3Gb/s HD
100GB SATAI 1.5Gb/s HD
6Mb/s Cable (Comcast)

And my router is a Netgear WGR614v6.

My problem is that I can access my server without a problem through the LAN, but not from outside, even when I put the server on a DMZ (De-Militarized Zone). This is probably a problem with the router (or maybe Comcast blocks the 8767 port)... Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try another port? Or ask Comcast if they block ports.

I tried 6787. No luck. But It did work from the local side again. I did not forget to open the port from the router. Comcast only blocks a few ports, and they do not block 8767. Here's a copy of the live chat conversation (I did remove my name in place of 'Me'):

Me > I would like to ask if you block any ports
Me > OK. Thamks.
Comcast > Yes, Comcast can block ports. Is there a particular port you are inquiring about?
Me > Can you list them or are there too many?
Comcast > I'm checking for you, one moment please.
Comcast > The only ports that may be actively blocked on the Comcast network are
67, 68, 135, 137, 138, 139, 445, 512, 520, and 1080 at this time. Any
ports that are blocked will not be unblocked. If the port you would like
to use is on this list, please select another port to use with your
software. There are over 10,000 ports available for use. Please be advised
that Comcast reserves the entitlement to block any ports on the network
without prior notice. We thank you for understanding this security policy.
Comcast > Is there anything else I can help you with today?
Me > OK. Does this mean that those are the only ports blocked? I am trying two ports: 8767 and 6787
Comcast > Yes, those are the only ports that Comcast can or will block.

So obviously a router problem. Any other suggestions?

Is it possible that I can only connect to my internet IP from a different IP? I have only tried with a different computer on my LAN.

Yes. This is even mentioned in our FAQ.
Do NOT use the WAN IP or serverlist to connect to your LAN server. Your router will most surely not allow this. Within your own network, ONLY use the LAN IP. There is no difference even if you setup a port forwarding in your router, use the LAN IP when ever you or someone else is within the same LAN as the server is.
