The new version contains the following changes:

- client shows a confirmation window before granting serveradmin privileges

- username and password must be different now
- minimum password length increased to 6 chars
- added a scrollbar to the "IP Bans" window
- updated all URLs
- updated "About" window
- minor fixes

You can find the new release on our Downloads (http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=downloads) page.

So does this require SSA, or just SA?

Are you confused? This is a Windows Client release, with a list of changes...

@Veriton:
Simply replace the TeamSpeak.exe and restart your client. You don't need special permissions on a TeamSpeak server to do this.

Maybe we should release another client binary which either shuts down itself after 24 hours or refuses to run on systems with an uptime > 24 h. :D

I tried to download and install this several times however it locks up when I try to log into any server. Anyone else haveing this problem?

Maybe you're using a software firewall that is blocking all outgoing connections from the new binary.

Are there any error messages?

It definate Zonealarm is not getting a request from the new version and won't use the existing authorization. The reason I say it not getting the request is the program doesn't show as running or requesting authorization. I tried to delete the exsisting the authorization, to no avail. I shut it down and loaded it first and then zonealarm and it works, but doesn't show the program running throught the background (ZA). Might want to look at why it not identify a request or using the exsisting authorization for teamspeak. It's consistant I tried it several times. I even manualy loaded it and it still wouldn't go thru the firewall.I will run the old client for now....FYI Zonealarm ver 6.5.731.00

I get the following:
9f887780d1f855acd29d950cbad5e2ea *TeamSpeak.exe

I've already downloaded the file multiple times. And I also tried switching OS (WinXP/Ubuntu)
Same results everytime.

Updated md5sum and sha1sum (both did not match the file) of both the client and the server binary recently released.

Scp: please check your hashing tool, it seems to be broken?

Seems like my little hash calculator made a mistake here. Sorry guys...
