Hello,

I seem to be having trouble splitting my mic's feed into two channels. To be more specific, I cannot use the microphone in two programs that require microphones. For example, I cannot run the microphone on a program such as MSN, as well as voice recorder. Another case is using a program like MSN along with Ventrilo, or TeamSpeak with Ventrilo. I can only use the microphone in one program at any moment.

I know the microphone feed can be split, because a buddy of mine has no problem getting his microphone running in two programs.

I've contacted microsoft (developers of my OS, Windows 2000), and they could not help me. I've contacted the developers of my microphone, and they have yet to respond.

If you could help me out, that'd be great!

Thanks,

You can try to change the way TeamSpeak 2 communicates with your soundcard. In your TeamSpeak 2 client, navigate to Settings > Options > Sound Driver and change this setting. This might help.

Windows 2000 has some limitations when 2 applications try to access the soundcards recording functions simultaneously.

Windows XP does not have these limitations.
