Alright, here is my problem (explained to the best of my ability).
I have all ports set-up in the Port Forwarding of the router. The Port Forwarding is listed under NAT with this Modem/Router. I have the following ports set-up; 8767 UDP, 51235 TCP (for query), 14534 TCP, 8773 UDP, and 51234 TCP. I go to connect to my TS from a computer on my network and it will only connect through 198.168.0.XX. I am only able to connect using Quick Connect. When I get my brother to try and connect over the internet he gets the message that states "No reply from server maybe server is offline or maybe teamspeak is not running". I am able to get a response when running a query and on TSViewer.com it tells me all the info about the TS including me being online when I am logged on through the DHCP. With past routers I have been able to connect through the IP like I was not on the network. This Modem/Router will not allow me to do that.
I found a post on here from way back in 2002-03 about "SMC" routers but the models were way older and the choices on the router were not even close. I think I am having a router issue but wanted to see what you guys had to say. I have rebooted it many times and found no change. I have followed the manual and still no connect. If anyone out there has the same Modem/Router as me please explain to me how to run the set-up. Besides that I am lost. I am just about to hand this piece-of-shxx back to my cable company with a tag on it stating that "Owner has repeatedly hit with hammer and device still fails to operate correctly", but I do not think that would go over well.
