View Full Version : No wave!!!?!
Ok im a big Eve Online player and recently when i play Eve and use TS at the same time, TS gives Eve some sort of graphical glitch. Anyway i was told to swap from Direct sound to wave, I thought great! that easy! But when i try to switch to Wave my sounds dont work, i cant hear anyone speak on TS and media player and games do not give out any sound.
I have to restart my pc in order to get it back and running again. :confused: :confused: :confused: Im realy stumped, im using DFI Lanparty Ultra SLI-D board with onboard Karajan 8 channel sound. Im also using Zalman ZM-RS6F 5.1 surround sound headphones.
Wtf could it be? I realy need to get this sorted because when i play Eve i must always use TS!

upgrade from windows 95 to windows xp sp2
then, download all your drivers related to your computer and install/upgrade them.

Well then... You probably need to upgrade your drivers...
Im using the latest drivers for my board and my Nforce (N4) sound card.
Im still stumped?! Ive read the FAQ etc and i cant find anything on my problem.
My link is NOT to the FAQ. Please take a look at the "When you're posting" section.
* TeamSpeak version complete string: 2.0.32.60
* Operation System - Windows XP Pro SP2
* Soundcard & Driver version - Onboard Karajan 8 chanel audio, Nividia NVmixer 4.62
* Game - Eve online
* DirectX Version - 9.0c
* Error message - Wave does not work in TS and its now becomming clear that my system doesnt play some .WAV files
hope it helps

Is your headset usb?
settings -> options
make sure whatever device you use for teamspeak is selected and not 'primary sound"
Maybe you should stick with direct sound. find a different method for correcting your origional problem.
Im using a 5.1 surround sound Headset which has 3 jacks and im not using primary sound. Im gunna order a new sound card next week and do another complete format. I dont think windows formatting it self realy does the job.
thanks for the help so far tho :)

I think it's a sound card driver problem still...
