Hi, I wonder if it's possible to use the 'BoundToIp1=' with a dynamic IP?

My problem: Some ppl can connect all the time, and some ppl can only connect sometimes :s reading the FAQ I found this: http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=faq&id=4&item=41#q41
Well, my current IP is 88.206.148.19 but binding it to that IP is pretty pointless as it will change in .. lets say 24h.

Could any1 help me? thnx :)

On a home line (which I assume is what you have, as those are the ones that usually change their IPs) you should only have ONE global IP address. In this case your problem is not related to the FAQ you linked.

Im not sure I follow you here... only one global IP? isnt the global IP the one that changes or what do you mean?

IP bound isn't supposed to solve dynamlc IPs matters. You don't have more than one IP, you have 1 dynamic, nothing to do ;)

use a free dns software to redirect to your IP

if you still have a problem, you surely don't have a soft to track your ip and match it with a domain name

and if you don't understand, read the related entry in the faq

hm, Im not sure I use the correct terms or something here, u see I have a dynamic IP bound to 'bisa.no-ip.org' (free DNS service). I guess I have to try again... (tell me if I still dont have a clue and should be kicked in the butt) ^_^

The problem with NAT-routers described in this FAQ entry (http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=faq&id=4&item=41#q41) is similar to what I experience on my server.

I took a second look at my first question, tbh... I missphrased it.
This is how it should be: Is the NAT problem solved by using the 'BoundToIp1='? If so, why can't I bind my IP (bisa.no-ip.org)?

... thnx :p

*edit*
hmm.. wehn I wrote 'similar problem' ... I think ist bcs of this since sometimes they can connect but sometimes they cannot, for them to be able to connect I have to rebot my router.

i just leave my boundtoip blank and it works fine

however, i would expect if you really want to put somthing in, you put in your internal IP, and not the external one
