not transmitting

well ive been using Ventrilo for a while now but just recently switched to Teamspeak 2
but I have a problem, its not transmitting any sound from me..
I test it in ventrilo, works fine
I test it in windows sound recorder, works fine
I cant really figure out whats the deal with this.. anyone have the slightest idea?

With the information you have provided, my best guess is that you do not have the correct input device selected.
