You obviously don't have a clue what an IP address or a domain name really is. If you give someone your domain name, he will get your IP anyway. So how could you even consider to be bothered about the fact that the IP is visible?

an apparently you didn't READ the linked thread.

Here's the short version - your IP address is your address on the Internet. Just like your house has an address.

You open a TeamSpeak server on your computer, and you want people to connect. That's like throwing a party at your house, people need to know how to get there.

Don't want to give them the address? Your party (TeamSpeak Server) isn't going to get any guests.

You can't hide your IP. Period. Every site you visit, every google search you perform, uses your IP address - that's how google and websites know where to reply.

So you're welcome for the lock, since you failed to take the advice given, or apparently even peruse the link you were given for a far more lenghty explanation.

"Oh no! That's a lot of words! I want an answer in 5 words or less!"

This link will help:

http://sales.tritoncia.com/hosters.php

Find an authorized ts hoster and you don't have to worry about people knowing your IP.

This post should be double locked
