I am triing to set up a server. I have read all forums and FAQ as well as followed the above very informative posting about setting up a server. BUT nowhere did i see about having two routers, one wireless and one wired.
Now when I set up the server and set the Wireless router to the 8767 ( the compter that is running the TS server is on that wireless router ) and i plug this compter that I am wrtting this on to the back of the router, I can get on the server locally ( as instructed on the posting ) but no one else can connect using the WAN address. Now, when i reconnect this computer to the wired router ( by the way, both are linksys, wirelles is a G and the wired is the one with phone ) I cant connect to the server at all, either locally or through WAN.

So my question, what is the way, if possible, to set up this server having two routers hooked up?

Two routers is a bit trickier, but follows the same pricipals as one router.

Think of each router as a door or gateway that must be passed through to get from the internet to you.

With one router, you have to open up port 8767 and pass it to your computer, so that people try to hit that port get moved to the PC runing the server.

With another router in the middle, you need to basically pass that port twice. I don't know what the order is on your routers, but I'm going to assume that it goes Internet --> Wired --> Wireless -->TeamSpeak Server (TSS).

So, you need to open 8767 on the Wired router, and pass that along to the wireless router's internal IP address.

Then, you'll need to set the wireless router to pass that port along to your PC.

Of course, that's assuming that each router is running its own private IP range, but since you didn't give that kind of detail to work with, I'm taking a stab in the dark.

of course a much better solution (although i don't know your reasons)

would be to get rid of the wired router, and just use the wireless one, if u need the extra ports then buy a network switch

Anyway, wolfstar is right on the money, that is what you need to do
