Someone please make this sticky so I dont have to post it again.
All you have to do is deny all Server admins the right to grant Server admin in the webadmin. The stupid botters can come in and bot away all they want and nothing happens they cant give themselves SA. I know this works because I use it on my server. The only way I give SA is by the webadmin by either the user control panel or temporarily allowing the granting of SA.
After you have done this they sit in there for hours on end trying to hack the server by botting it getting nowhere.
If you manage to get their IP run a whois on it at www.arin.net so you get their whole IP range. Then ban the whole range. You can ban multiple IPs with a single ban. Its like this lets see their IP is 68.103.171.83. You run the whois on it and it says their IP range is 68.103.0.0 - 68.103.255.255 all you have to do is ban 68.103.*.* where the * stands for any number. You can also do it like this 68.103.1**.*
The reason Im posting this is most of you dont have SSH access to your TS servers nor do you have the access to add some plugin to TS to prevent them hacking the server through botting it.
Now if they hack your password there isnt much I or anyone else can really do about that you just have to make it harder to break next time.
PS also works for Linux servers.
This has been tested on multiple servers and has worked very successfully
