Hi everyone,
You probaly know the program fraps that makes a video of the game you are playing. Well everytime I make a video and I'm on teamspeak then if my friend sais anything my mic automaticly activates even if it stands on shout and by that I meen almost at the end even with the smallest noise that my friend makes he activates. And If I say anything he doesn't hear me.
Hope you can tell me what the problem is.
thanks.

Yes I record sound. If I switch to push to talk then he doesn't send anything to my friend when we are talking. I can hear him talk but he doesn't hear me. But If I push the butten to say something and my friend sais something then it's the same problem with the voice activation.

and if you don't record sound while capturing video, is it better ? do you have multiple sound devices ?

I'm going to try that.
But on some games like battlefield 2 and america's army he doesn't record sound when it stand for recording it. But I got only that problem on teamspeak when I have used fraps for a video. The only method that I have found for solving the problem is to shut down my PC and restart it. But that is not really a good option.
Mayby it's just my PC I don't know.
But thx for the help.

The only sound devices that I have is my mic and my boxes and I have only 1 soundcard and it's onboard. But in a while I'm going to have a headset mayby that's going to help.
FRAPS is messing around with your sound settings to be able to record the game sounds. TeamSpeak uses the same settings unless you have a second soundcard or USB headset and told TeamSpeak to use it instead.
This means that running Fraps and TeamSpeak through the same soundcard will almost certainly cause problems.

Oooooh OK, thx for that.
I thought it was a problem with my PC, that he was messing with me.
