Hey guys i really badly need any help yall can give, i have been fighting with teamspeak for 3 solid weeks now with not an inch of progress. It gives my the following error when i try to connect to ANY server:

[08:26:15] No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it

Is teamspeak version: 2 2.0.32.60

I have a Di-Link 604 router that i get my internet connection through, i share it with my brother.

And before anyone suggests it,

No i cant tell my brother "Tough luck" and plug myself directly into the cable modem.
No, I dont have any firewall software running on this computer.
I have tried to forward the ports and i have also tried to let the router firewall to allow teamspeak but i simply dont understand how to do that because i guess the despicable human being that wrote the firewall code for my router decided to make it as complicated as possible.

Heres some information from the Teamspeak log file:

09-09-06 08:16:20,3980,DEBUG,ProcedureInfo,Client Open,host www.vvs504.co.uk resolved to 72.36.177.122

09-09-06 08:16:31,3980,ERROR,ProcedureInfo,Client Open,Exception: Timeout on recv LoginStep2 wait

And here is a screenshot of my routers firewall screen:

Anyone who understands how to configure this firewall to allow my teamspeak client to connect to servers please post here and i would greatly appreciate it.

I fly LOMAC:FC Online, without TS im useless in the air, PLEASE help.

1. You don't need to mess with firewalls or routers for the client.

2. You only posted the log for one server when you state that you cannot join ANY server. You did not state this, but it appears like you are trying to log into a server with the wrong login information. Please remember that the login information is CAPS sensitive.

3. Update your client to the most recent binary.

The error in the log is the same for every different server, and the server does not require login information nor do any of the other ones i treid and they are all Up and running and other people can connect just not me.

*Edit- I just updated to the binary and theres no difference whatsoever (Big surprise).*

in teamspeak options menu. go to the other tab and select debug mode. I think I read somewhere that helps with the timeouts.

Try other servers. Your connection to that server could be bad.

Why not? Temporarily plugging your computer directly into the modem would allow you to find out if it's a router problem or not. If the problem persists, the router might not be the problem. Else, you have a problem with your router setup and this is where our responsibility ends.

The TeamSpeak client doesn't need any port-forwarding. Forwarding ports for the client is absolutely useless. Besides that, we are not responsible for firewall problems. All we can do is telling you which ports and protocols you have to allow in your firewall. (See FAQ: Which ports does the client use? (http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=faq&id=3&item=20#q20))

This is not correct. Router firewalls which block outgoing and / or incoming connections need to be configured to allow TeamSpeak connections. Some routers even recognize the TeamSpeak servers UDP packets as an attack and block them (DOS protection). Most router firewalls are disabled by default, so most people won't have to change their router setup unless they enabled the firewall.

Updating the TeamSpeak client to the latest version is almost always a good idea but normally doesn't help to fix connection problems.

why is everyone so obcessed with teamspeak, almost all the VFW's use it, the voice quality is horrible and its methods of connection dont work for many people (me included), vent works fine for me its just ts thats being a pain. for future reference, teamspeak coders..just copy ventrillo and put a teamspeak logo on it if that makes you feel better. im out.
