Different kind of echo problem

I hear echoes from noises on my computer only when I'm on TS. If I exit out, then the echoes go away. It started today when I was playing a normal game of COD and i exit out. Then, it started. I'm not sure how to fix it.

- check your sound mixer settings: is the micro the only recording source ?
- Test wave & direct sound in TS

Do you really hear YOUR game sound as echo and not the one of your mates ? You might also check the echo thread in the FAQ

I was playing WoW yesterday and exited out when I heard every noise my computer made with a small echo, like it was in a cave. When I go back into WoW, or any other game, the sound is fine. I've no clue how to fix this.
