:confused: Ok ive been working on this for a while as u know tier 1 tech support ppl are almsot useless(i called my isp thinking they couls tell me y i cannt host ANYTHING) I despratly need to get a TS server up and going the problem is no1 can connect ....i use a net gear router and for my hole life ever usen the 2 routers ive had i have never been able to host anything so i hope some of u guys can help me out iam usen zonealrm fire wall and have no problems other then hosting and i would love it if 1 of u guys could help me asap ty:confused:

i can connet with my routers ip not my comps ip

Sounds kind of like your Router is blocking it. Do you havey our router set to not block it?

thats just it i cannt get into my router my isp has all the passwords also my last router i configed the proper ports

OKay.. Hmmmm. Do this. Start up the server, right click the server icon down in the bottom right tray. Then go to IP's and tell me if the 2 IP are diff or if there is only 1 IP

2 1 is the router ip the other is my computer

Okay. Go to Start, Control panel, Network Connections, and make sure in there that your GateWay is up.

Ya, Go in there and make sure. Cause i know myn crashed once and i still had internet and all but my TS server would not work untill i restart my PC and fixed the crashed Gateway. But check that really fast.

no listen ive NEVER been able to host this or anything else ..the program starts and no1 can join or see it ...and yes the gateway is up

i can but only if its 1 of those thigs were it automaticly puts u in it or i use my routers ip

Okay. I have a laptop at my dads too and i have tryed to host on it also and i cant. The thing i think is, is that your PC gets confused with the Router IP. So makes 2 IP's or something. Im not sure. This is out of my leage. Sorry if i wasted your time but i would ask a support person.
