TS for New League

I am in the process of helping to form a new racing league. We want to utilize teamspeak for our racers to use. I'm not sure where to begin. Can download the server and use it for the league or would i have to rent a server for this purpose. At this point I'm not sure how many people I'm looking at to use this at one time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a computer you can leave on 24/7 (or if you and your friends agree you only need it when you're all playing) you can download, install, and run a server on your own for free.

However, running a server from home requires a fair amount of networking knowledge (such as the difference between a LAN and a WAN, how to setup port forwarding, and more). If you're not familiar with these concepts, or unwilling/unable to learn, you're better off renting a TeamSpeak server from one of the authorized hosters.

Unless you have a robust internet connection I would suggest renting a TS server from a licensed TS provider.

if you dont mind you can use mine i just got it up and running and me and my clan wont be using it for awhile if you are interested just im reply back and i'll get your info and give you channel admin to you channel for you and your firends

Also, I find it very easy to just find some random server that is never used, and just use that one.
