question about LAN.Im a newbie!

Hi

I dont really know much about lan-ing and my question is will teamspeak work just over a LAN connection? Ive tried to set it up over two wireless D-link cards and dont get anywhere. How do i get it running (if i can)?

Any help would be greatfully received cos I know very little about setting up networks. Thanks.

PS: I know the network is working correctly cos we have Battlefield 2 running nicely over it, but the VOIP doesnt work in that either.

In short, yes, it will work on a LAN (in fact, that's a little simpler than running it across a WAN).

If it isn't working start by checking the firewall settings on the computer that's running the TeamSpeak Server. Make sure it's set to allow inbound UDP on port 8767.
