I have this problem where my sound pops out when I use Teamspeak. It's like this: I'm on a clan channel with my clan team mates. After 10-20 min useage I loose all voice message from them. It's like there's a conflict or some. It's wery annoying especialy when competing in Quake 3.
? Any Ideas ?

yeah, same thing happens to me on GR.
I'm hosting the chat, then suddenly, we lose comms.
We all show in the main chat window still, but i have to disconnect and re connect to get the comms back.

Yes same here. When I lose comms with my teamm8ts. Then I need to log-off and log-on then connect to Teamspeak server. If I don't do this. then I still don't hear from my pals even though there is a green light etc. on the channel. >(
Any devs here reading this and got an idea ?

not yet.
I never had this problem myself. Dureing 2 hours of talking, lost nothing.
You say you do see green lights, from your buddies, but you cant hear them?
Can your friends still hear you ?
Can you hear the voice messages like "link disengaged" ?

Yes, my friends can still hear me. But I can't hear them.
The "Link Disengaged" message is the same as voice messages from my friends. That is I lose the "link disengaged" messsge also after 10-20 min usage :(

So you have to totally stop ts and start it again to get sound back right?
What sound driver do you use for teamspeak? Direct Sound or wave?
What soundcard do you have?
When sound stops, close ts, save c:\program files\teamspeak2\TSClient.log (or whereever you installed ts) and post that here.
I've solved this problem for my friend. It boiled down to his sound card (even with the latest drivers), could not support TeamSpeak and Tribes 2 running simultaneously.
We bought a crappy $10 sound card and he uses that for his mic input, using his old sound card for all output. Everything's fine now.
We'd exhausted all other possibilities. Sorry, that's the best I can come up with, seeing as I couldn't alter TeamSpeak or his sound drivers.
edit: spelling mistakes

Similar problem, but to resolve, I (as host) disconnect (not shut down TS) and reconnect, and everythings fine.
Just thought I'd bring that to the table!

crazyjoe_uk:
When that happens, do YOU see the green lights from your pals?

Yes, i do still see Green lights for both myself and my friends.
And it always seems to be me (as host) that has to disconnect and reconnect to make it work.
Hope this helps:)

and with disconnect you mean disconnecting from the server, not quitting the ts client all together right?

yes, that is correct.
As the host, i simply choose the Conection tab in TS client, then Disconnect. I then , choose Connect, and up comes the Connect To Server tab. I click Connect, and all is ok again.
Any other questions at all, don't heisitate to ask.
