I want to start my own passworded channel, but I'm not sure how this goes. Do I need to buy a server space? Or is there a free/public server I can use? I have tried logging onto public servers, but once I add the server to my local address book, I am not able to get back into the room from the address book.

If you look in the web list there are many public servers, pick one and see if you can make a registered channel. If you wish to have an entire teamspeak server you can make one for free, or rent one from the authorized hoster list located here http://sales.tritoncia.com/hosters.php
