 Ok, I'm new to TS, although I've used it before, I wanted to try and create my own channel for me and my friends to chat on with games and such. I registered my login name on the client, and everyone says you get a password in the log, but...I can't seem to find it. In the TS folder there is a thing called "TSClient" but it just says log started and log ended and a bunch of random stuff. I know that you have to be an admin to register your own channel and I also can't find the lil' link that takes me to the "Admin Register." If anyone could help me, that would be nice. Please help and thanks so much. :D
P.S. I would like to create it in my own server, but I don't know if I have to pay for it. If I do I'll just find another way. All hellp is greatly appreciated
You can find a password and a loginname in the log if you install a server.
But you installed the client.
On some servers there is no need to register to create a channel on this server.
See our Public-Server: teamspeak://voice.teamspeak.org

Ok, thanks.
Now this may seem kinda stupid but, how do I install a server? Do I have to pay for the server in order to install it? If not, could someone please clarify this for me. I would really appreciate it.

Ok, I downloaded the server, but now...I've got a problem. (Of course) I'll look up other guides or something but you can still help me. I can't connect to my own server it does the "No Reply from server, Maybe the server is offline or maybe teamspeak is not running it." message. I'll look up other help but you could post if you want.
Please try the forum-search!
YOU have to (in most cases) use your LAN-IP (or "localhost" as sevreraddress).
Other users from outside your LAN have to use the WAN-IP.
