Microphone wont work with TS HELP ME

Hi guys does anyone have a clue how to fix this.my microphone works in wndows i can hear it. ihave adjusted all my windows and soundblaster settings as well as tested on-board sound. but yet i haven't been able to be heard when speaking into my microphone. I have tried muting mic some ppl say that works with sound blaster cards. I even tried to set it up via msn messenger. this doesn't work. I have fiddled with many settings in team speak that doesnt work.

my hardware is as follows:

Windows media edition
Soundblaster audigy 2 zs for notebook its a pcmcia
ati x300 pci-e

You have to select the microphone as input source for recording. Windows is set to stereomix or waveout (standard). If you did that already sorry only an idea to help you.

I have it all set now. that was already set up it was a different issue i have it working though thank you

If that does not help, toggle between "wave" and "Direct Sound" Settings->Options
