Hey guys,
Today I decided to launch my own TS2 server after a vaillure at my sponsor. I run Call of Duty 2 servers on a rackmount in a datacenter (amd athlon 4800+ dual core with 3gb ddr)
So the connection for my TS2 server and the server I use to run it on wont cause any problems.
But heres my problem;
I installed the TS2 server on the computer and launched 1 TS2 server. Now some of my friends have problems connecting to my server.
Ive read a lot of stickies on these boards and FAQ but I cant seem to find whats causing this problem. My port, 8767 is open thats not the problem.
The weird thing is that myself and 3others are able to join the server and like 5others I asked were not able to connect.
Does anyone have an idea on this matter?
The IP is: 81.171.125.80:8767
Feel free to check if you can see it online.
Oh and I had another question, how can you enable the mode in which you can see who is in what channel :$? (thats probably in a sticky but there must be someone reading my topic that knows it lol).
Geoff
EDIT:
Maybe this gives you guys an idea; but I have several IP addresses on that PC the serverclient tells me I can use a range of .80-.87 and they all do work for connecting (at least for me they do). Might it be a possibility to lock the TS server on 1IP? If so can anyone explain me how? Will it help? Oh and yes those IP's are used for my CoD2 servers so they are all active.
