What do you mean?

If so, you need to log onto the web admin panel, and set up another virtual server

Errm, i suppose if you made a copy of the TS directory somewhere else, you could open 2 simultaneously....
nope..that didnt work. i just brougth the TS i already had open to the front
See our Software-Archive (http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=archive).
You can run the current version simultaneously with clients lower than version 2.0.29.47 (including this version).
what would that help for? i was there but nothing interesting about my topic

You are right about the current version
Thomas is saying, if you want to use simultaneous versions, you need A version <= 2.0.29.47
Which is avaliable from the software archive
ohh..sorry..i didnt read that, i thougt i was a part og his signature..
will that meen that if i down and install the "new" ver. i cant connect to other servers witch isnt that ver. og is it all under ver2?
if you know what i meen?

I dont know if the clients can only connect to certain server versions
I cant see why it would be limited
If I remember correctly, version 2.0.29.47 is the only old version from the archives which already supports the Speex codecs. But it's not located in /releases/archive/ but in /releases/.
You can also use this download link (http://www.teamspeak-einstieg.de/src/license.php?file=ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/4players/teamspeak.org/releases/ts2_client_rc2_2029.exe). This uses a script I once wrote which will display the latest license agreement before redirecting you to the correct download file.
k...thanx mate
[EDIT]
that link/script is broken.. i could not get the page to load... only got the error message "Server could not load" im usin mozilla if that matters!

idont have ie installed..
could you post it to me? the direct link=?
No. Direct links are not allowed.
Okay, I've now got 2 clients up and running on the same computer. Now... I've got 3 TS Servers. How can I add a 3rd client?
That's not possible (on Windows) with TeamSpeak 2.
Cors u can. Thomas sure dont know what hes talking about, yet hes eger to comment lol. Actully any version any time anywhere. You just need to know some reverse engeneering =). I actully have a patch that does this, but i didnt add this into my mtsmod (Mansi's TeamSpeak mod tool) witch changes the colors of teamspeak clients.

Well, you've just admitted that thomas is right
As reverse engineering may be needed to do it to let you do that
But its against the Terms of User
Thomas: It is possible with older versions....
Please read the whole post before starting to grumble:
See our Software-Archive.

It is possible to run two clients simultaneously, but not three. (That was what he wants in his last post)
It's all good. 2 is enough to be logged into at one time anyway. Perhaps down the long road of TS updates they'll include a way to run multiple (more than 1 without version difference) clients. It would be nice to be able and run only 1 client, but have a "switch" tab or a drop-down box that would toggle your mic/headset to a desired connection within a list of live connections. There I go dreaming again... ;)
You should definitely read the Developer Blog (http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=blog).
Another feature already working in TeamSpeak 3 is connecting to multiple TeamSpeak servers from within one client, much like tabbed browsing, just 'tabbed voice-comming' so to say. There is a lot more work to this feature than the innocent bystander might think, but despite a few bugs we're still working on fixing, this feature is almost completely done.

Bastian didn't post a link to a binary or something else.
The link is to our developer blog (text/plain only).

Exactly what i was thinking....
Besides that, the virus alert in older client versions is a false positive as mentioned a trillion times on these forums. Get a better virus scanner and do a search before claiming that our team members spread viruses.
